  Maca Dosage

Dr.  Garry Gordon who  specializes  in longevity,  recommends a
dose  of about 3 grams (3,000mg~4,000mg daily) or more, de-
pending on individual  tolerance,  severity of  the problem being
addressed and  how quickly results are desired.   It is important
to take  enough as a food that nourishes  the hormonal system
to maintain optimal balance and health, to take it regularly and
to give  enough  time for  the Maca to work with  your endocrine
system, which  will depend on  your initial state of health. Some
people notice a beneficial difference with 1-2 weeks  and  others
will take longer (up to 3 months). We recommend both partners
(male/female)to use Inca-Maca while working on conception. The
usual amount taken for fertility is between  4,000mg to 5,000mg
daily.  Women usually  stop taking Maca  when pregnancy is dis-
covered and resume Maca if they are breast-feeding to increase-
         milk production.
